HeartCode BLS allows students to take the BLS Provider course on a computer followed with Skills Testing with an Instructor, instead of attending a traditional classroom based course.
Price: includes Skills Testing Session. Online Key is purchased separately by Student

Course Length: Online class averages 1.75 hours / Skills Session 45 minutes to 1 hour. You must complete the online portion at home before your appointment time and bring the Certificate of Competion to the Skills Session

An American Heart Association Course Completion Card is given at end of Skills Testing Session. Card is the same AHA Course Completion Card you would receive from taking a traditional class.

The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Update Course: $135 Course + $45 Course Book + $6 shipping (Books ordered within 7 days of course will not be shipped). ACLS Provider Update is designed primarily for healthcare professionals in emergency departments, intensive care units, critical care departments, surgical areas, or pre-hospital environments, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency. The ACLS Provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest, symptomatic bradyarrhythmia, tachyarrhythmia, acute coronary syndrome, and acute ischemic stroke.

Currently Rescue Squad CPR does not accept eBooks, or support Internet/ WIFI for students.

Class confirmation and code for accessing REQUIRED ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment will be emailed to you following registration.

The ACLS Provider Update class is a one day class for students with current ACLS Provider cards which may take 6 hours.

The ECG & Pharmacology class is an excellent course to take prior to ACLS and is recommended for first time ACLS students. If your license or background has not provided you with ECG and Pharmacology training or if you need to review and expand your knowledge, we suggest that you complete the ECG & Pharmacology class prior to taking ACLS for successful completion.

BLS PROVIDER COURSE CAN BE ADDED-ON TO ANY ACLS CLASS DURING YOUR REGISTRATION PROCESS. This allows you to get both AHA cards on the same day while only completing the additional BLS Provider material not covered in the ACLS class-BLS written test and Infant skills testing. Rescue Squad CPR will provide a BLS Study Guide to assist you with the written exam.

You are required to have the current ACLS Provider textbook for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase one here. You may add-on BLS Provider if you wish. Please choose from the following OPTIONAL items:

ACLS Skills Test is for students who need to do a rapid renewal of their certification. Students self-study (review Study Guide & Skills Testing Sheets) then come in and take the written exam and skills test. Students must be prepared and must have their current certification that cannot be expired. If students fail either portion they must return for a traditional renewal course. ACLS Skills Test class length varies-about one (1) hour.
